John Jason Bonham (The band called him "Bonzo") was born in 1948 in Redditch, near Birmingham.
When he was young he always banged on mothers pots and pans.
When he was ten, he got his first drumkit.
Bonzo made himself famous with his powerfull drumsolo "Moby Dick".
Sometimes he played with his bare hands.
He started playing in locall bands. in the Band of joy he was playing together with Robert Plant.
When Robert joined Led Zeppelin, the drumseat was still empty.
So robert said to Jimmy that he should listen to Bonzo.
He played so hard, that you coudn't here yourself speaking. Soon he was a member of Led Zeppelin.
He died in 1980. It was a shock for the world. Led Zeppelin was so strong,
They couldn't stop! But it happend.
